Lee Wagner

Lee Wagner serves as the Interim Associate Vice President for Budget and Finance. In this position, Lee is responsible for University-wide budgeting activities and central financial functions, including Treasury, Bursar, and Controllership. Lee is also the University Controller, leading teams including Financial Accounting and Reporting, Payroll, Asset Management, and Cost Analysis.

Lee has worked at Penn State as Controller since November 2022. Prior to coming to Penn State, Lee worked for over a decade in public accounting before taking on roles in higher education finance at Duke University and the UNC Health Foundation.

Lee holds bachelor's degrees in Accounting and German from Penn State, as well as an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
