Finance and Business (F&B) supports all financial services within Penn State, providing the highest level of service and stewardship. The Financial Shared Services hubs deliver a streamlined process that improves the end-user experience for transactional activities.

Financial Hubs
All financial hubs are located within two F&B units: the Office of Central Procurement and the Office of Budget and Finance.
- Bursar manages the entire student financial lifecycle, bringing together dedicated experts and streamlining services and support.
- Controllership strengthens the University’s accounting and fiscal compliance through payroll, financial reporting, internal billing and general accounting.
- Financial Planning, Analysis, and Coordination provides financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial partnership services to support the University and individual unit’s fiscal health and decision-making.
- Procurement and Accounts Payable drives efficient, compliant financial operations through expert management of purchasing, payments, and vendor relations.
- Treasury and Accounts Receivable supports Penn State’s financial liquidity, compliance, and effective revenue management.
