Kristin Sykes

Interim Assistant Vice President for Finance and Business Services, Commonwealth Campuses

Kristin Sykes serves as Interim Assistant Vice President for Finance and Business Services, Commonwealth Campuses. In this position, Kristin is responsible for overall Commonwealth Campus budget planning and management impacting the 19 undergraduate Commonwealth Campuses, Penn State Great Valley, and the Office of the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses.


Kristin has served Penn State for nearly thirteen years, all of which have been in the Office of Physical Plant. She started her career in OPP as the Manager of Financial Services and now serves as the Senior Director of Business Administration. During her time at Penn State, Kristin also spent a year as an Administrative Fellow under Rich Bundy in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations.


Prior to joining Penn State, Kristin grew her financial and administrative expertise while working for Community Health Systems over a twelve-year period, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer for Jennersville Regional Hospital.


Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Spanish from Bloomsburg University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
