Penn State Campus Residential Dining welcomes the National Peanut Board, as they host a peanut-filled special lunch and dinner event. These unique peanut specialities will be available at all five dining commons on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Penn State students should be prepared to experience a day full of peanut fun. The Perfectly Powerful Peanut dining event offers a PB&J bar and an exotic African peanut soup all day long. Students can choose regular peanut butter or the honey roasted peanut butter, along with different bread options such as multigrain hearth bread or sourdough bread. As lunch rolls along, peanut lovers can also enjoy the perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate in the Buckeye Brownies.

As the peanut fun continues, don’t miss out on the dinner selections which include the togarashi seared fresh catch with Thai peanut sauce and peanut butter no bake cookies. The Perfectly Powerful Peanut event will also have various peanut swag that can be won at our special prize wheel. Some prizes include peanut-shaped stress balls, recipe books, spreaders, peanut envy t-shirts and Perfectly Powerful Peanut hats. Peanut lovers will also get the chance to sample different types of peanut butters with PB Crave, and peanut sampling with the Virginia Diner company as well. The Perfectly Powerful Peanut event will leave students going nuts for peanuts!

Lunch and dinner hours vary depending on the dining location. Typically, lunch is served between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. For more information on campus dining hours please visit:
